Anyway, they won't get fired. For some, this minimum wage job is all they have and all they know. It would be wrong to take that away from them regardless of how much they bash

That's weird to hear coming from you.

wow.. thats the complete opposite of every GameStop around me and the state of Florida. Most of the guys that work there are 360 fans. I had fun destroying their logic when I bought my PS3 back in Nov. =]

Did you (or anyone for that matter) botther to read what I said?

I would love to hear your incredible arguments for the PS3 that you invoked on said employees. What great PS3 logic destroys the obviously flawed 360 sales numbers?

I didnt even argue for the PS3 or any console. Just PC. They believed not even could beat the "all-holy" 360. The controls were unmatched and no game has ever sucked. That was their entire argument. I just said Kameo, Mouse and Keyboard, no RROD, and free internet play. All employees shut-up and frowned.

 Hahahahaha, ok now thats funny!

O PC how you make many fanboys tremble.

That wasn't very nice. Just because I want people's money doesn't mean I want their souls as well

Currently playing: Civ 6

it just makes me want to DL day of the tentacles to remember what a good game was (and still is). guess i'm gay...

ps: anyways, sounds very unprofessional. i wonder where was the store manager.

What was wrong with Kameo? That was the only 360 game I was interested in for the first 8-10 months of the consoles life. :-p

I have 4 various EB Games or Gamestops I go to. Fortunately I have not encountered any fanboyism myself. They've seemed to be quite respectful of all consoles. Now, as for how well informed they are, that's another story. I am still surprised how little their employees know.

So PS3 fanboys are racist? Ok...

The gamestop employees around me love every system and every game. Cause... they want your money. They also actually know a lot about videogames and it takes some effort to get a job there or so people have told me.

Maybe it has to do with the competitive nature of their being 3 gamestops on the same block... then another 3 gamestops on the same block like 10 minutes away.

Gamestop/EB Games employees are not really fanboys (at least not around here) but they are very dumb. They never know when a release date is except if it's for Halo 3, and they want you to pre-order games that are coming out the next day, and they always never know how useless that stupid 10% off/more for trade ins/used games really sucks. Gamestop is a glorified pawn shop. They take your games for less than half of what you paid for it two weeks ago then sell it for five dollars under the MSRP. None of that money for reselling it goes to the company, it goes to GS. That's how they have record profits. By giving you an extra ten percent on trade ins and off of used games, they're enticing you to buy these games. Then you buy them and all the money goes to GS. That's why whenever I go to a GS, I always buy new... I support the developer, not a pawn shop trying to steal money.

If this thread is turning into a there are almost as many Gamestops in close proximity to each as there are Starbucks in close proximity and that's a problem thread, I wholly support this thread changing topic.
