I just finished the Modern Warfare 2 campaign and it was amazing!!!

Was anybody else just completely breathless at the part where you first see Washington D.C. being destroyed? I mean all those historic buildings were just completely demolished and it seemed so real but so imaginative at the same time. That scene is probably the most memorable scene of all time.

Some other notable scenes from my gaming experience:

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess- Scene where Link stabs Ganondorf in the stomach, I really wasn't expecting that and it was epic

Mario Galaxy- The first level when you walk off the side of the planet and don't fall, it gives you vertigo and its just really cool

Final Fantasy 4- Beating Zeromus, Probably not breathtaking for most people but it was the first FF game I beat and it was such a releif after                                   about 50 tries!

In Kirby 64: the crystal shards...

After you get all the shards and beat the final boss you come with a different ending and fight with a stronger version of the boss

and in super mario galaxy: When everything was going into the black hole and saw the luma waved his little wittle hand and mario is looking at the luma as in "don't go" and then went there saving the universe... this made me emotional... and dont make fun of me...

the campaign is really bad imo. the story is really really bad and makes no sense .

Well, it has nothing to do with the story This thread is about the scene because I didnt understand the story either but it was just the scene of DC crumbling was amazing

When I fist saw the beginning Colossus in SotC.  Also killing him and seeing him smash into the ground.  Was just amazing seeing something so massive and knowing that I'd be the one to take it down.

From Valkyria Chronicles Isara's death.  It wasn't really spectacular looking but there was this audible thump when the bullet hit her that I wasn't expecting at all and really took my breath away.

Oh there are plenty of scenes in video games that made me "shit bricks" in the good ol' 4chan fashion! Most recently scenes from Modern Warfare 2.

I'm bookmarking this thread and will update this post when I feel like posting my epic list!
