Was this game ever announced?

I had forgot about Starcraft Ghost completely. God, I really wanted that game. Damn you Blizzard.

Yes, I believe it did exist, perhaps if only in the very early stages of development.

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men saw to it's death though.

It's still on IO interactives "to do" list apparently, so a slim chance of a sequel is possible in the future.
