Forums - Microsoft - Should I wait to purchase an Xbox 360 until it is launched with Natal?

You waited this long so you might as well wait a few more month by that time the Valhalla chip set should also be in stores and widely available.

What will be first Chris, PS4 or Valhalla?

I think Valhalla will be out first, but with EOL coming to cell development the chip is pretty much dead.  At least the 360 still has some architecture change movement/coming.

OP: Do what you want it is your money, but if you continue to wait and never do anything the generation will pass you by. I don't think it is too late to get into this generation personally.  The 360 is going to be around for quite a while is my best guess.

It's the age old dilemma:

Do you wait till the price drops, or buy now? I think it's safe to say that you won't be losing much if you bought an Xbox now. If you want to save some dough, then buy an Arcade. They're cheap cheap.

If you had a PS3 then I'd say wait, but since you have nothing of your own to game on, I'd say go for it now.

Personally I hope they redesign the 360 and bundle a sexier version with Natal. That would really spice things up, especially iif it's cheaper than the Elite currently is.

The Valhalla chip set should be out already but more testing is always a good thing.  I have no clue when the PS4 will be out I'm sure its not anytime soon since the redesinged PS3 is selling extremely well.
