The first one is really horrible so I prefer the Japanese one. Sadly though, the Japanese song isn't that good either, it's to generic and something I've heard a million times already.
I don't know what SE were thinking. FFXIII has been in development for half an eternity and this is all they can come up with? It doesn't make sense.

I had expected something like the ending song in Okami. A good song that perfectly fits the game.

This song from Xenogears is also a good example (imo) of a good song (maybe a bit cheesy).

Neither of these games have anything close to the production value of Final Fantasy XIII, and thus I'm very disappointed in SE's effort.

Bot songs are not necessary bad, but Leona Lewis' song is completely out of place. The Japanese one isn't really good either, but at least it fits the topic of FF. And it's not some RnB shit. I hate Rap and RnB. >: [

Both songs are pretty lame and what's up with all the R&B hate. I know that most of today's R&B music sucks but Motown music from the 60 and 70's is epic.
