How many people here still have PS3 systems that are backwards compatible to be able to play PS2 games? I have one. Curious who else does.

lol, I repaired my YLOD 60gb BC ps3 with a hairdryer lol. Look up videos on youtube. I dont trust the system anymore though so since I already have a slim, I'm gonna sell it on ebay as a broken system later.

I have to send it in next week. It sucks because I have two PS3s and I want to play MW2 in the other one while my primary one is repaired except the disc is stuck in the YLOD PS3.

watch this, I was skeptical but since I had nothing to lose I did it anyway and boy was I surprised. To think that I paid sony $150 when my 1st 60gb YLOD and lost all my data too. It probably wont last too long (maybe 2 weeks to 3 months from what I gather) but at least you get enough time to retrieve your data + more which is something sony's $150 charge can't promise you.
