Hmm. Didn't know that. 

But still there are many more RPGs that are coming out next year that don't focus on online that I would rather have.

Story mode is like 1/3 of the game...
if you have friends on the PSN online is a BONUS.
Oh and the georama is exactly like dark cloud....
how i wish they would make another dark cloud game...

I might get it. I'm most likely getting FF13 though cause it's beast.

Sigh, dude, do you understand that this game doesn't focus online if you don't want it to? The game alone is about 40-50 hours + of gameplay not including online. It is a complete game by itself. Did you ever bother playing Dark Cloud 1 AND 2? and Legend of Mana on PS1? Those 2 games will give you a good idea on the Georama aspect that adds ALOT of depth to the game. Say for example you have your friend Johnny's house built near old lady Alicia (who happens to be a bitch for argument's sake). Now Johnny will not be very fond of you, you may miss out on some quests or information within the added storyline, etc. Now if you place his house next to the hot girl from the block named Megan, BAM, Johnny can hook you up with some enchantment magic to make your blade break rocks, and even give you information on something in the story, etc. These are just examples but that's kinda how the georama system works. This in the single player adds many layers of depth that can extend gameplay for you and online is not needed. 

Now should you CHOOSE to go online, or rather get a better connection and go online, you can help someone with their quests and get unique items, weapons, quests, etc from their own georama created town, which is an added bonus to the ALREADY extensive gameplay. Again I repeat the online is not THE focus of this game, it is simply added value that would surpass the other traditional rpg's (Demon's Souls is also up there in value). So definitely do not overlook this game based on mere assumptions when again, the single player is as complete or perhaps bigger than the other traditional rpg's
