meh.
Bayonetta, NG and DMC are games focused on combat mostly and have extremely cheesy stories. These games are saidstically hard on harder difficulty levels.
God of War on the other hand is almost of another sub-genre as it incorporates platforming as well. God of War is amazing if you stray away from the square square triangle combo. Sure, you can button mash your way through it, but you can also play it the awesome way.
Its like comparing WRPGS to JRPGS ? See ?
A better comparision would be God of War III and Dante's Inferno.
Other than the "fun" combat, God of war has an AWESOME story, and the scale of it is much larger than any of those games !
In Pandora's Temple in God of War 1, you had to face its 3 challenges and solve many puzzles to get to a point which you unlock a door to go to its center and that wasn't the end of it ! Truly HUGE ! Same with the Temple of Fates in the Second game.
God of War 1 & 2 are two of the best games ever made, although its combat is not as deep as those other games as a full package it trounces all those games easily.
Don't get me wrong, I love DMC and Bayonetta as well.
From what I've played,
God of War > DMC3 > Bayonetta > DMC4 > Ninja Gaiden
