Forums - - So ..Impressions?

For me this game is better than Dragon Age.  It is so much smoother.  I can't remember a WRPG where running really felt like Running.

The side quests are awesome.  I am like almost ten hours in the game and I am still at the second village you come accross too.  I also love a lot more to grind in this game.

So you guys impressions?

In USA it is for January (release) I thought.

Their are reviews out their like the one from Eurogamer. (Strange they gave it the same score as DA/O and Risen.

Edit:  Somehow the URL doesn't want to post on the bottem of my post.

The demo is out on XBL.

I am unsure how long its been out - saw it available, and downloaded it.

The gameplay seems to be 'good' but the frame rate is ATROCIOUS. Reminds me of Two Worlds. Controlling your character is a chore, too.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I don't have played the demo...So far I had no problems with framerate....And what do you mean with controlling your character is a chore?

Okay:

From the 360 demo, all the animations are very, very choppy. The attacks, and characters moving seems like they're moving at 8-10FPS.....Very bad. On the other end, moving the camera around is very smooth, which makes it odd.

As for moving, you use the left stick to move AND turn which is kind of disorienting, while the right stick moves the camera. It would have been better if it adopted a shooter-esque control of the left stick moving the character, and the right stick turning/aiming with the character.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I have spent the last 5 minutes or so trying to figure out what you could be trying to say, but sadly, i couldn't. Can anyone tell me what he meant here ?

To grind. To level up at a place.

Like in JRPG's staying at a dungeon/forest etc just to beat the enemies to level up...

@mrstickball: I think you the first to mention the movements like that :s. (Even on the forums).

About the framerate problems aswell, but that can be the demo...Should check larain studios more often.
