Historically I think Theres a stronger argument in Englands favour. In terms of now obviously america is more influencial.
But hey when it comes to the west Ancient Greece owns you all anyway.
nitpick: America is the continent, USA is the country, when you call USA america is pretty offensive to other counties because they're all par of america
Man, why are the British so damn bitter in this thread? Seriously, you can't even post something like "America has tacos" without them trying to debate you. It's pathetic. I'm sure that if you ask the average person that desires to immigrate whether they'd want to live in the UK or the US, they'll likely pick the US. And a recent poll by Gallup shows that the most desired country for immigration is the U.S., with the U.K. not even coming closely. So if Britain is so much better, it seems A LOT of other people disagree.
I'm not saying that popularity necessarily equals quality, but the U.S. is sure as hell richer, more powerful, and generally a far more desirable place to live than the U.K. Enjoy Monty Python and old bands.

True, the average person probably would choose the states.
The above average choose England.

You could probably have chosen a better example.

There are dozens anyways, it's just an example of someone debating something petty.
