Bungie developing for PS3 > FFXIII multiplatform

Personally, I'd be surprised if Bungie did it, I feel like they'd only develop on PS3 if their relationship with MS was rocky.

Microsoft owns the IP. It is literally impossible as of right now.

I doubt Bungie is going to develop a multi-platform game in the near future. While they are not owned by Microsoft, they certainly still have strong ties to them. I believe Microsoft is automatically given the first chance to publish any of their games. I wouldn't doubt that Sony is courting them though. Their inclusion in the meeting was likely an attempt to bring them more on board. Whether or not it is successful is yet to be seen.

A PS3 exclusive from Bungie would probably be a "bad business decision", because the studios fanbase is on the 360.
So they'd have to struggle with the lower installbase in their main market (NA), with the installbase not being as aware of them as on the 360 and with alienating their loyal fans.

A multiplatform title seems more possible, but still it's unclear if the extra money they'd put in a PS3 version would actually pay off in the end.

In my opinion the only reason for them to try a project for PS3 would be their own interest in the HW and in taking a risk.

I could see Bungie doing a PS4 title. By the time they are finished with Halo: Reach, 2010, it would be pointless for them to make PS3 game. You figure it would take them at least 2 years to start development and complete any PS3 project they'd be working on. That would put the games release around the late 2012 time frame.

MS certainly has a right of first refusal for several games or several years.
