That is an insane idea you have there.

Well these games cost a lot of money...and since most of them made in America or western Europe, they have to have somsort of national pride associated with them. 9/11 can only provoke so much desire to reduce countries responsible in to rubble. And cold war has been over for how long? They will jsut run out of enemies... Its just a matter of time before Aliens and Nazis are brought back as they are perfect enemies.

As far as WW2, there is lots of room for more games. I'm still waiting for the first game where you can play as Nazi's and obliterate the Americans and Brits. Think about it...it could have saved Turning Point:Fall of Liberty from being utter shit of a game.

Sarcasm aside, the real issue with WW2 games is they are very limited in scope. If they did have the various views on it like has been stated previously they could revitalize the genre, but I don't think we have evolved enough as a peoples to play as Nazi solider. It would be very difficult to make it an unbiased view. It might happen in another 20-50 years when all the people involved are dead and gone.

True. But I see some small company hungry for press and money doing it anyways down the road.

Let's hope it happens sooner rather than later, it will speak more about us as race if we can view the War from all perspectives. If anything someone could make their own small game for PC. The graphics and gameplay wouldn't be much, but the story could be fantastic.

i think a world war 2 game that covered the whole war in its entirety for each side would be awesome. I would definitly buy it.

I've also been waiting to play a game as the Nazi's where they win even if it's just a battle or two and not the war.

Like maybe the beginning when they kill France and invade the Soviet Union?
