Forums - Nintendo - COD: MW: Reflex: Lag Edition

Im asking the Wii VGChartz community if you guys have experienced lag for the new call of duty for the wii.

With any game there is some level of lag. COD: WaW had it moments of lag and The Conduit had bad lag.  With Reflex, Ive had lag almost every game.  Now some will say it might be my connection but Ive tested this at my cousins house and my other buddy has the same issue...so i know its not my connection...not to mention I play MW2 on xbox and have no issue.

Anyone else having issues?

The Wii matchmaking system is probably no where near as advanced as Xbox Live. Therefore you are probably getting put in matches with people very far away.

I've played for about 30 hours online and have had very few issues.

Location affects things too.  If you live in a high population area with more chances of people to play with in your immediate area, you have less issues.  If you live farther away in a more rural area, the matchmaking system will likely just randomly select a game to join.  I know with games like Mario Kart and stuff I was playing with people all accross the world every match....

None!!!

Also forgot to say that NAT makes a big difference. Even with crappy NAT you will always be able to find games on XBL, but on the Wii with less people to play with your NAT may be the cause of you finding bad matches.

Then why is it perfect for me?If you can answer a question you can answer its opposite

Because you either have perfect NAT, live in a large population that plays this game, or have ridiculously fast internet which is always chosen as host.

I'm not saying everyone is laggy.  I was just offering a multitude of possibilities that could be causing him or others to have lag.
