I know, manga n anime is very popular in the West.

What I meant though was that knowing Akvod, I didn't see him as the manga type. He liking Battlefield, Total War and stuff (and other things about him). So I thought in his case there might be a connection to his Japanse decent.

I don't want to make it sound like some kind of correlation between my heritage and liking manga, but I guess since my dad bought me manga and rented some anime when I was kid I was exposed to manga. There's a lot of shit manga though, as well as good. It's just a medium.

I planned on playing some non-Type Moon visual novels over the summer, but never got around it. I'm only going to play some spinoffs so that I won't get too absorbed like I did with Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime (hopefully O.o) since I have school work.

I like some manga, and also like Battlefield and Total War....... good portion of folk that I know who like one like both....

Manga is basically just a comic.... lots of it is crap like most western comics are crap.... but there are some really cool ones just like there are some really cool western comics /shrug

I'm sure there are mangas out there like Watchmen, however I seem to never be able to find or hear of them.....

You guys ought to experiment and try out new stuff. Try out F/S N. Tsukihime is a bit too bootleg/low budget maybe, and the routes get a bit repetitive.

Play F/S N, as that's fucking awesome, it feels like watching a really nice anime.

Strategies when playing:
1) Think of what makes the best story. Don't pick choices that'll end the story if everything goes perfectly.
2) Think of what makes the best story again, but in terms of character development. Think the 2 choices in GTA IV, and which one had the more satisfying ending. That ending was a reward for you recognizing the whole theme and point of Nico and the story.
3) Think a bit common sense/survival. It has some horror elements.

Holy fucking shit, I'm playing Kagetsu Tohya right now, and I forgot to take a screenshot, but man is the game a lot more complex than Tsukihime. I had like, fucking 6-7/8 choices.

IDK why, but Type Moon VN's also give me the fucking shivers. I'm afraid to play the game with headphones, and I try not to get my face too close to the screen, and get absorbed into the world they present.

Tsukihime, you had at most 3 choices.

I personally would recomend Tsukihime first, just because it's so low budget and F/S N will seem better afterwards, but because of its low budget and slight repetitiveness, you might be put off isntantly.

 

I think F/S N is too large for a DDL. Just type up torrents for it in google.

 

DON'T FUCKING SEARCH AND FIND OUT ABOUT F/S N!!! SPOILING THE PLOT WILL ABSOLUTELY RUIN YOUR EXPERIENCE!!! ENJOY IT LIKE I DID AND EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!

Don't even google F/S N without typing in "download" "torrent", etc. DO NOT YOUTUBE F/S N! Just download the game now and play it if you never heard of it.

I finished arcueid's true ending recently,story was a bit short but awesome at the same time.Kagetsu Tohya looks like a fan game to me from screenshots,i mean not serious like tsukihime or F/S N,so i haven't tried it.
