Forums - Sony - What will keep momentum for The Playstation 3 high?

In all honesty, it took a price cut, slim model, and a strong first party and third party exclusive line-up to put Sony in the position it is in now.  Can we say the same things in 2011? 2013?  With Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo out of the picture in that time, what will keep momentum high for Sony's it does everything box? Is this the PS3's golden year or will it just be bigger, better and more badass in years to come?

gran turismo will not out of the picture, Polyphony Digital has admitted that 6 will take way less time than 5, 5 was a BRAND NEW game, i think it will not be as good as 2010, but still pretty damn baddass in the years to come

FF and GT aren't really out of the picture. They will continue on the console.

Dunno if the Wand will turn into a hit or not.

Releasing an update with ps2 bc and offering ps2 games on the psn might help...

Off the top of my head.

The Slim+$299 was pretty damn huge though. $199 with a big title might have a similarly large launch, but it'll be the Slim's launch that's remembered as the big step-up from Sony.
