I prefer splitscreen coz sometimes when playing Online Co Op, the other dude might not help you out and go off by himself and later just get shot down easily.

splitscreen can have lag in the framerate. Try cod4 on shipment with 4 people and call in an airstrike

LAN or system link is easily the best. I miss the days of 4 on 4 StarCraft LAN.

I really don't know how I used to play games with 4 player split screen on a ~25" tv when I can barely stand 2 player on a 56" these days.

Splitscreen or system link. Online co-op is not as fun for me. Playing drinking games or just screwing around with a person and not a mic. is much more fun for me.

Online. There's just something instantly cooler about teaming up with somebody thousands of miles away to take on the badguys. Plus, headsets rock!

Online I would say because on a 22inch screen, split screen isin't fun.

I prefer splitscreen (well ideally via lan) co-op but usually have to resort to online co-op (playing with random people online you don't know decreases the fun for me at least)

online co-op only (I am stingy and do not like sharing my HD TV) or Local multiplayer over LAN ( I host Warhawk tournaments over my wireless router signal with 4 friends in the same room against people online). Also I will never forgetdoing this with Socom 2, this made getting kills academic :0)

Agreed! Way more fun with split screen, imo.
