It is apparent now that they zero interest in adding anything, even something that is free across multiple platforms, unless it can be a bullet point for their premium service.

Dumb?!?! Give me some example of american companies that thinks about employees/customers/product before thinking about maximising profit. Now I can give you hundreds of companies from other places like japan, germany, australia, swiss...
