You guys think you're faster than the VGC staff? Click the link over to gamrFeed and prove it. I'd love to see who's the fastest amongst the VGC staff and gamrConnect loyal. Bring it!

How long is the competition open? I can only drive in GT5 this Sunday.

Through the weekend, I'm going to stop taking entries midday Monday.

Cool then, I'll give it a try

Were your times taken with a pad or a wheel? Also, if you're already way into GT5, how do you compare the time that you made with the time needed for Gold in events such as the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Eiger Grand Tour event?

The GT Academy events are self-contained. They have their own leaderboards with very specific cars. Read the post and visit the site for GT Academy, it will explain everything.

I know, I participated in the previous GT academy and was 110 overall in the Portuguese leaderboards with a DS3.

That's why I asked if your times had been done with either a pad or a wheel and if it was difficult for you to reach those times. I've already golded the Sebastian Vettel X1 Challenge and I drive with a DFGT, so I was trying to get a kind of measure of how much I can improve in this GT academy.

Personally, I just used a controller. I like racing games, but I'd never buy a wheel. Played on a few at some friends' houses, but never wanted one myself.

the wheel is important imo

used the GT by citroen concept in the dream car championship everything went okay till lap 9 on the monza course when it ran out of power ,i thought being non endurance races that don't wear tyres or use petrol it would be the same for the battery but the gauge was right down so i limped into the pits after doing half a lap at 80kmh only to find that i could change my tyres and nothing else wtf!
