Okay, this is hardly a trend, but I have noticed that both Assassin's Creed 2 and Modern Warfare 2 did it with characters that had nothing to do with their respective characters in the original.

Playing through Modern Warfare 2, I was just waiting for when they revealed Ghost to actually be Gaz, because they had the same voice. And in Assassin's Creed 2, Leonardo is voiced by the same guy who did one of the men from one of the assassin bureaus in the first game. I have no issue with it being the same actors used, but when the voices are so blatantly the same, but with completely unrelated characters, it breaks immersion for me.

It's just something that annoys me.

I believe the same actor voiced McGreggor in Call of Duty 2.

Hmm, never noticed. But then again, CoD2 doesn't really have any connection with the Modern Warfare games other than the brand.

Fine, the facial hair as well.
