Just because they brought on 343 to work on Halo doesn't mean they will axe the company who invented it. From what I understand, 343 and Bungie share information between each other and Bungie actually has people working at 343 as advisers or some role similar. So more than likely they will do something similar to what Call of Duty is doing with IW and Treyarch.


This probably free's up a lot of people at Bungie, because they will probably share game engines etc... So then Bungie could free up those guys into making a new IP.

Though I am confident that Bungie will be making a new (mulit-plat) IP, money dictates all and Halo titles produce shit tons of it. I just dont see Bungie not making another Halo when MS is willing and able to fund it.

Microsoft Game Stuidos is suppose to be taking the Halo franchise over. Bungie is working on a new game, most likely a 360 exclusive.

Bungie has no PS3 experience, they left on good terms with MS, and it's smart to have MS publish and promote their future game.
