i dont always post but i do lurk a lot... and whoever is saying "would sales be any different?" if M$ Sony AND nintendo came out in 2006 and thinks they would not be is completely mistaken.

both sony and M$ would have gotten crushed by nintendo (still) but sony would not have to deal with a 5-9 million lead the xbox had. Also most games would be on ps3 as devs would not have a year head start to work with the xbox. and remeber xbox 360 had NO games the first year as did sony.... so the world would be a lot different

:) leave it to a self-proclaimed conservative/microsoft hater to claim that ps3 and xbox360 are equal, despite a huge lead in sales for 360 and dominating software and peripheral sales for the 360. Let's also ignore the whole profibility issues as well.. yeah... equals. Brilliant!

Both systems are great can we stop fighting? For those who say lets remove the 360 sales from the first year cuz it had a year head start, I say this lets remove all PS3 sales before the slim was released. Why do you ask? Because the PS3 Slim was the relaunch of the PS3 as a brand hence the new logo in the US and marketing campaign. It would have been nice had Sony marketed it like that from the beginning.

Anywho long live the PS3 and XBOX 360!
