it will be a major boost to xbox if its as good as they tell us it is. (i, as a sony fanboy will finally get an xbox by then. =P)

i do think it will cause a sale boost, but i dont see it really making everyone lean towards xbox untill next gen. i think by then we will have a better natal were we can use our fingers to do stuff like as at the dashboard we put it on play game or what ever

I refrain from making any Natal predictions until Microsoft releases some more information on what games will be available at launch.

Too many unanswered questions, in fact Microsoft has barely given any information on what it can do, and what it will support. I am tempted to say that it will fail given how late in the gen it comes, but if it's really cheap and has a killer app *, it could easily take off.

* no, I don't think dodgeball is a killer app.

Someone either doesn't know what the Playstation eye is (web cam) or doesn't know what Natal is.
I'm going with both.
Anyway I don't see this pushing xbox sales that much. This will be an add-on for the xbox and will get that type of sales.
To me this is more about getting it out there and testing the waters ready for next box when we'll see what natal can do.

Also dodgeball is a tech demo so why do people seem to think it's a killer app or the only game that's ever going to be released for it?
I guess people want to spread hate about it by saying look at that. that's all it will do?

Can't really say how natal will be received until we see more of it at the beginning of 2010. But we do know that unlike past add on's from other companies Microsoft doesn't have a problem shelling out a lot of money to get third party support.

It's to hard to change this far into this gen next gen though thats another story...

I stopped reading after this point.  How are you predicting the support will be slow and weak when so many devs have already spoken out to support and be developing titles for Natal?  Not to mention the rumor that 14 games will already be ready by launch...

I'm glad to see you aren't a wishful thinker, but the history does not always repeat itself and while most instances you claim you are just representing your opinion, you must realize actually everything you said is just an opinion.  Nothing can be guaranteed or dismissed for the future with Natal.
