we dont know how much it will lose or make once its all said and done.

but we do know none have done as good at as high a price.

Of course none have done as well at that price, the only really comparable system is the saturn....not really a great talking point and also a poor argument to be honest.

We dont compare success based on price here....too many variables, we talk total consoles sold, no use in bending arguments it gets us nowhere.

Nope.  The original Xbox lost around $4 billion.  PS3's already at $5 billion, and still bleeding.

Well, we can be pretty sure it'll be an overall loss at least, unlike 360 or Wii.  Maybe Sony should "try harder next time"?

Wrong. This is a forum heavily spammed by doom & gloom and negative comments because of the console warzz. There's been as much doomsaying for the 360 as for the ps3, the only exception is the wii because honestly only a retard would doom & gloom the wii. Well, there has been some doom&glooming about the wii lately, which speaks a lot about some of the forumgoers here, but I digress...

Well then talk consoles sold.

PS3 is out selling the 360, 360s lead is deteriorating.

PS3 has done what 99.9 onhere said impossible, its out selling the wii in one of the markets. 

Not this week.  They're basically even in Japan, and next week is Mario...

^^It doesnt matter cause ps3 isnt profitable and I bet next year if sony does turn sum profit then profit wont matter by then and so on....
