In a news that will make Twestern jump to the roof out of joy, the website mininova is now dedicated to legal download offers. All torrents have been deleted.

I think the copyright holders are scoring better than 1, since they've also shut down suprnova and thepiratebay.

Eventually these trackers will set up shop in jurisdictions that don't give a damn about copyright law. I'm sure some are already set up in such locations and they get more popular every time one of the big boys gets shut down.

Until laws are passed that allow governments and comapnies to decide what websites you get.

The EU already tried that once i believe.

In the future, the internet will be state run to protect the buisness model of these industries.
