^Christ?Lol..

.Yeah i know that kowenicki,im just saying its doing worse when you look at previous years.
Nintendo is losing momentum, though it's mostly PR speak.
They're trying to give an illusion of catching up, when in reality Nintendo is still like 3-4 laps ahead.

You're making a flawed assumption, Chris.
It seems to me that you assume that his here is the case:
2008 Wii Sales: 10 million (instance)
2009 Wii sales: 7 million (-30%)
2010 Wii sales: 4.6 million (-30%)
That's not really how it works. It essentially makes having a high peak year look like a bad thing, which it most definitely is not.
It's PR talk folks, Reggie said stupid stuff, The MS guy is known for saying stupid stupid stuff, now Sony must top it.

if by loosing momentum they mean that instead of selling more than ps3+360+psp+ps2 combined they sell almost the same or a little more than hd twins then yes. but hey they will still outsell ps3 without any big titles or 3rd party support simillar to hd console support or even ds support.

Not every.
DS in 2009 on weekly basis is trending behind DS numbers set in 2008 sometime since October, -4% YOY (calendar). It's likely to have weaker holidays this year, so it may end with -8~10% YOY (calendar). But after launching DSi XL overseas, depending on how well it'll perform, it might be flat again or insignificantly down YOY (fiscal). Not really smth to concern about, DS is healthy.
Funny how Nintendo is a suddenly competitor when Sony is as close as it's ever been. Yet when the Wii is well out in front it's not a competitor. If sales go back to their usual parity then Nintendo will no longer be a competitor!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!
I'd agree with Sony on Nintendo losing momentum, if they're looking at a YoY perspective, they lost like .2 marketshare since the Slim launched. That said, Sony hasn't been able to put up the numbers that Nintendo has with their home consoles since late October, so if Nintendo is going from a sprint to a jog, it still is gaining distance from Sony's walking pace.
