playing as yoshimitsu or king (for starters) could be problematic, but perhaps fun to watch

air wrestling or bouncing around on a fake sword ftw

Proud Sony Rear Admiral

This raises a very good point, and one i have thought of before actually. I guess for a shooter it could come with some kind of a gun that you would point at the screen and on the gun could be some buttons and maybe a analogue stick. The simple fact is most people who play video games would rather not do physical activity at all, or use games as relaxation from doing physical activity. This is just another thing that is bringing to the surface how motion control will not replace conventional controllers and will simply be an alternative for certain style games.

That was the question everyone has on their mind. Aiming should be much easier because you can make gestures towards the screen.

However don't you guys think its weird how we think natal should enhance a shooter's experience when it can be used for inventing new genres instead.

the movie "gamer" had the player put his palm forward for walk (as pushing the back of the character).... so I guess you close the palm for stop and show the back side of your hand for backsteps and the side for going right and left with the hand being about 10cm appart for both options.
use your other hand for shooting and aiming.

sounds intuitive enough.

then there is also the option to talk ^^

They made something like that before just not just a camera but a bunch of light sensors which you break to throw a punch or kick. Can't find it's name or an image though. Didn't work well though if I recall.

Hmm, pie.

If Microsoft wanted you to walk, they'd sell shoes.

Come on people, this is for hardcore games, not walking games. Get with the program.

These recent natal threads make one thing clear:

Microsoft should put out more information about what it can or can't do, or in the end they will never be able to live up to the hype and notions building up in the time to its release.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

You can also say "F*ck it" and go back to the couch with your normal controler.
