2. 2012 as I've been saying would be the release of nextGen stuff.
3. Sony hasn't learned their lesson if true.

First rumors of PSP2 show an over-powered expensive system. First rumors of PS4 show an over-powered expensive system.

Why can't $ony find that happy middle ground where you get a good upgrade of capability while keeping the price to build and thus the price to buy at a moderate level. This super high end crap is why Sony is losing in every market across the board.

^^this IBM chip will still use some aspects of the cell, its just that the cell was too expensive and hard to develop for. Im sure Sony will release all PS1, PS2, some PS3, games on PSN, I also see Dreamcast titles coming to psn

kinda like the ps2 being in the ps3 60gb but was taken out due to high price cud repeat itself start off with full backwards compatible depending on sales keep it or remove it. 

@superchunk, this IBM chip will be maybe 10x cheaper to make then it toke for the cell.

It doesn't matter if it's 1000 dollars if you guys start saving now.  5 bucks a week twords PS4, c'mon... Then, when 2012's here, you're good to go.  I hope it comes out before December so that we'll have a good amount of time to actually enjoy it.

It already said that SONY is lookin at a COST EFFECTIVE Custum built model for PS4 ... SONY has learned trust me

im dont know much about hardware but couldnt they use the cell and the Power7 (or a cheaper version/watered down version) at the same time and release it later

agree with Xxain, Sony has learned, next gen, watch out nintendo
