I haven't used my PSP in a while so I decided to power it up and update it and to test out a few movies files. To my frustration, I couldn't get it on the wireless network I had at home when I realized I had updated my network to 802.11N and 802.11B on the PSP was no longer supported.
No problem I thought, I'll use the PS3 as an access point. But the the PS3 access point only allows you to access the PS3, it didn't allow me to get on the internet, just the local PS3 for remote play nor can you remotely install over the wireless the games I bought on PSN for the PSP.
The PSP GO is such a half baked idea, I'm not even considering it. And it still support 802.11B only.
Honestly Sony, if you want my money, you need to update the basic PSP or have the PSP2 out soon. The PSP platform is dying and the PSP Go was a waste of time and money. The PSP started out as a great platform but it hasn't gone anywhere in the last 2 years other than to get slimmer/smaller. /rant
