Forums - Nintendo - Would developers give a Wii HD the games they denied the Wii so far?

If we counter, the proper discussion is to make your own counter with your own points. That's how it works. You just kept repeating the same line, which is not a reply, it's five-year-olds arguing on a playground.

That was what I was calling you on.

Oh, is that how a discussion works? Thank you for pointing that out. Ultimately, all your comments can be summed up into everyone is dumb and/or ignorant.

How can I have a discussion with you? A huge Wii fan with all the answers.

What you read into them says more about your feelings.

I was stating it was too soon to see how Crystal Bearers could do, which is a statement that leaves room for it doing badly. You kept insisting it is now, after just two weeks.

How could I have a discussion with someone who decides something without all the facts?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Who guys, calm down, this is going nowhere and the thread's been seriously derailed. Just leave it be and move on.

Like I said, semantics. Maybe down the road it'll be a modest success. But for the series and a major Wii release, its a horrible start. Honestly, I'd expect it to smash L4D2 in Japan. Yet they were about equal.

Well you have all the facts sir. And nothing on the Wii is a failure.

Edit: And everyone is ignorant or dumb. That's crucial to all your points.

Back on topic, it's not rocket science if the Wii were similar in power to the current Gen "HD Twins" then it would get the same ports. Because it's closer in power to systems from last gen it gets ports from last gen. You would think this was a simple concept for people to grasp and yet there are those who continue to post bullshots of onrail shooters in a resolution that the Wii isn't even capable of and go "look see Wii can do anything a PS3 can". No... It cannot. It's just a fact of life and people need to accept that.

It's not that simple though.  If the Wii were the same power as it's competition it would have cost more at launch.  It would likely have played out like last gen where the GC was as powerful as it's competition and still wasn't getting games for various other excuses, eg: "The userbase is to small to make it worthwhile" or "Nintendo systems only sell Nintendo games" or "Nintendo systems only sell kiddy games" or blah blah blah.  There is always been an excuse dating back to the 64 regardless of the actual situation.
