the only main FF games i finished were FF1-9 and FFX-2. right now i can say that if the story and gameplay mechanics will be simillar to older mainstream jrpg stuff i probably won't be picking it up even when it hits 10$. maybe my taste changed or i'm bored with those old gameplay mechanics, but i'm more interested in games like -------->Resonance of Fate

I have to agree, I've completely lost interest in the Final Fantasy franchise after the last three installments, JRPGs aren't what they use to be.

You are not alone.

Again with the emo stuff, do you people even realise what the words actually means or you just like to throw that around as lack of argumentation capacities?

Have you seen the last trailer? Where the hell are those "emo" things? And how does the story and romantic feeling difers from anything we have seen from past FF's?

Maybe your taste has changed as you pointed out, yet your next argumentations are really lacking in any reason, logic and substantiation, from what we have seen from FF so far.

i'm talking about the last original Square Enix games. Dissidia should be the synonym of Emo(after 2 single player campaigns i threw away this game, it was so bad) and same goes to Kingdom Hearts DS.

"oh, why do i fight", "...", "oh, why the whole world is so cruel", "...", "oh, i will even die for a fu*kin flower", "...", "oh, i should never fight", ".....", "..." - for f*cks sake just grew some meatballs down there!

i don't want to hear in every dialogue line:

- whining about a cruel world,

- that everyone hates you,

- your feelings about why you shouldn't fight

- why fighting is bad and cruel

WHEN IT'S A FRIGGIN FIGHTING GAME!!!

You played Dissidia because of it's story or because of it's battle system and all that the game can offer? Clearly you have no idea of the value of Dissidia, it's story is really weak true, but as a fighting game it has so much depth and value.

Do you know that you've just quoted pratically all FF's, Dragon Quests, Personas, heck even almost all RPG's, be it WRPG's or JRPG's, have moments like those.

As I said, you lack logic and reason for your claims, you were a lot better claiming that it was your tastes that changed before attacking incoherently a situation that has been a staplehold in most RPG gaming.

I won't buy FF13 because I don't have time to play such long game anymore.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

Nah, never been interested in FF

well most of them have thing like that but not in every scene, dialogue and line. i picked up Dissidia as a fighting game - fighting system was bad, rpg elements were awesome and whole story mode was horrible. i would say that Dissidia is not a fighting game since they kinda took fighting system from battles of typical japanese action rpgs and stretchet it into whole game.
Tales VS - now that's good fighting spinoff based on rpg franchise.

No you're not the only gamer not interested in FF XIII. I haven't been interested in a FF since the SNES, and this one doesn't look to change that.

especially now Square Enix is pissing me off with their latest games and i'm sure FF13 will be no exception. another emo fest with bad story line, crossdressing characters and annoying dialogues that i want to skip all the time.

You have good taste

I agree.

I'm picking up FFXIII, but I can already tell I won't like the story. Half of the FFXIII trailer was just people crying. FFXIII looks like some teen drama show.
