Being number 1 on itunes doesn't garuntee the number 1 spot overall. Susan Boyle will come sell more cds, Lady gag will sell more digital downloads

Itunes doesn't sell a huge amount of albums, lots of individual songs are sold on itunes though.

More albums are still bought physically at this stage.

Does the fact she's a hag make her sound better?

Twesterm it is because she isn't a particularly good looking and has a good voice that she is selling so well, that and the fact she was on AMERICAN IDOL and X FACTOR, the biggest mainstream music shows.

ALSO 550K is an estimate of what it may do, it could very well fall short of that. The fame monster may sell more than 350K, considering its selling alot more albums than susan boyle on itunes *both versions of TFM*.

It's not that she's bad, it's just that there's so much better out her than her.  And I'm not talking about the Lady Gaga's, Brittney Spears, and Allison Iraheta's.  She is better than all of them but that's like saying some mid-teir NFL quarterback is better at football than me. 

Those other people are complete hacks and she does have talent, but it's upsetting that she's selling so much when people that are so much better than her are being completely ignored and it's upsetting she's selling so much only because she's ugly and marginally talented.

I guarantee you that if she went on that same show and looked like Megan Fox she would be completely ignored.

It's not my favorite version of Scarborough Fair (I think the Meadival Baebes have my favorite version) but I still completely adore Hayley Westenra.  I still want to buy that one Wii game she did the soundtrack for (Eternal Ocean?  I forget the name) just because of her. 

I actually just got one of her CD's last week, Hayley Sings Japanese Songs 2, and it's pretty awesome (Cosmos being my faovrite song) but then I got her Christmas CD this week and it was meh, though I've never really been a fan of most of her Christmas songs.
