Because HD fans and developers and publishers are full of hate for the console, it came out of nowhere and crushed their dreams, and then backed up and crushed them again.

right now the HD market is dying, and they all know it, so they rage

HD market is definitely dying considering a dozen or two AAA games get released for them every year

Around the Network

Ninty hatred has been around ever since Sega said that Sonic had "tude" and Mario was lame. No blood in the first Mortal Kombat on the SNES was the first time where I really started hearing people say that Nintendo was for babies and that Nintendo games suck (despite all reality). It started there and it's only gotten worse since then.

I suppose that in the past, Ninty was usually the loser in sales for consoles, so nobody was going to aggressively kick a dog while he's down. But now Ninty is on top so all the hatred and disgust for bright colors has come out in full force.

That's what I gather from what I've seen.

AAA no longer means profitable. Take Two lost money when GTA IV came out.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Because it has a mediocre software library geared towards the casual audience.

This, pretty much exactly.

I'm not trying to be a troll, but I'd rather play Modern Warfare, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Halo, etc then Wii Fit, Wii Sports, etc.

There are still great games to be had on Wii like NSMBW, SMG and MP3 but most of their games are too casual for me.

This isn't asking how you feel.

Lol.  I also have to take the opportunity to say that Modern Warefare 2 is absolute rubbish and the biggest waste of my money this gen.  Even a bigger waste than Cooking Mama Wii.

And yet developers have not abandoned them for the Wii yet and don't look like they are going to. Wonder why that is huh? They may be losing money, but the consumers are happy.

And yet profits are pretty much nonexistant

You do know what happens when companies don't make money

Nobody said to abandon them. That's a strawman.
