Eh, can't say I hate them, but I do have accounts at both MySpace and FaceBook. But using them, well... that's a rarity for me. I can't remember the last time I logged into MySpace, and unless I get an e-mail from Facebook about someone posting to my wall (a rare event), I don't bother with that either, really.

And to the one who mentioned Twitter. That one I can't stand. We don't need 5 minute updates on your life! I'm sure as hell not going to give you that!

Yes, they are beyond annoying but sometimes useful (well Facebook at least).

I hate Twitter, it's full of useless people posting useless information I don't care about. I don't care if you're sitting on the porch, I don't care if you're eating dinner, I don't care if you're watching Community, and I don't care if you're taking a poop.

Facebook is just as bad, but it's only useful because I can directly get in touch with people every now and then and gives me contact information so when I do need to get in touch with someone I can usually find someway.

I havent seen twiter but from what Ive heard its kinda useless.

On FB I play some stupid games to beat my friends, watch some of my hot friends pics and discuss in forums too. It has been useful, you can find useful things like if a test gets moved, someone wants to invite you somewhere, etc...

Well I have friends and family sort of so it is kind of useful to use facebook. Oh, and practical as well.
