Forums - Gaming - is nintendo ever gonna make a rated M game?

something that might appeal to the older crowd, instead of the usual rated E stuff? what do you think?

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Yes, I'd love them to make an M-rated game. Mario sucks, I'm too old for that garbage, because I'm a h4rdc0r3 m47ur3 g4m3rz.

Nintendo doesn't do "Rated M" content, however, plenty of their games appeal to the older crowd. In fact, such a question is simply childish in itself.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

While its not M rated, but the bolded part applies: Wii Sports. (And Wii Fit (+), Wii Sports Resort etc.)

... and I stand corrected, looks like they tried with GC, however, who actually made those games?

I don't think they will. that could hurt their family friendly image. though they have out sourced some of their IPs before so I guess it's possible a 3rd party could make an M rated game with one of Nintendo's intellectual properties.

Eternal Darkness and Geist were only published by Nintendo.
Eternal Darkness was developed by Silicon Knights and I have no idea about Geist.
