Hey all! This is mah very firstest thread, so if it sucks or has been done before, let me know.

I just have a question about Nostalgia on the DS. I think it's sitting at about 73 on Metacritic (yeah, yeah I know, doesn't mean everything, but it means something). It seems like it would be right up my alley, because I am an old school RPG dude. So my question is, is this game just terrible, or would this be something you would suggest if one is an old school RPG gamer? Thanks for any help ya'll can give me!

dude... if YOU like JRPG's like Nostalgia.... then go for it

I guess I'm looking to see if it would be a good choice if I was buying an RPG for the DS, or are there better options. BTW, I have played FF4, Chrono Trigger and DQ4.

DQ5, Phantasy ZERO, FF3, FFCC series( though I dont recommend these), SMT and those are off top of my head. I also plan to get Nostalga too

I played this game and I really liked it a lot. It's not an INCREDIBLE game but everything is well done (except for the songs). I recommend this game for you.

Unfortunately I had to return the copy of the game. :(

Yes the game is fun but its not amazing.

@Soriku - I can't see the picture, but the link I can see says The World Ends With You in it. I did end up getting Nostalgia, but should TWEWY be next?

As The World Ends With You is mentioned - Great game, but it does a lot of innovative things that may take away from that 'old school' vibe you're going for. Still a great game.
