lol more time than the 4 years it took for Killzone 2?
I sure hope this is Killzone 3 though that would be awesome.
Please God, let it be kz3, no other fps cuts it.

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler
This article was released 23 Feb 2009. If it is to be believed besides Killzone 3 and Liberation 2 there is even a third project in the works.
Killzone 2 isn't even out yet and this pops up. Power Unlimited, a Dutch gaming magazine, reports that Guerrilla Games is already working on Killzone 3 as well as Killzone: Liberation 2 for the PSP.
The scan of the actual article is above, but it's in Dutch. And while I am totally fluent in Dutch (which is a total lie), some of you may not be. So I provide you with a translation courtesy of therandomgamer:
There are still some Killzone games coming. The devs told the newspaper "de volkskrant" that they are already working on Killzone 3. It's not a big suprise, but it's nice to know.
We've also heard that Killzone: Liberation 2 is being worked on and will come out in 2010. Then there's the question what the third GG team is working on...
If GG does turn out to be working on these games, it's really no surprise (as the magazine said). With a popular franchise like Killzone, they'd be crazy not to. Of course, this is still a rumor for now. Besides, even if they are working on it, we probably won't see it for some time yet. Killzone 2, on the other hand, is coming out in just a few days. You ready?

though we all like the Helghasts more i would find it very boring killing generic soldiers. If we do play as the heghast then i want them to be very crippled and weak. On the brink of exstintion strugling for survival think Fallout 3.

Wait, I thought Helghast did fall in love, and had relationship problems:
In another note, I was under the assumption that world of Killzone only has humans in it.
The Killzone 2 and COD 4/5 multi-players are the very best this generation. This is proved by how upcoming FPS titles like MAG and BattleField:BC 2 are heavily influenced by both of them.

if killzone 3 is being developed, please at least make sure the dialogue is better. the voice acting and phrases made me want to cringe. other than that everything in the game was GOTY potential.

Youre right. The swearing felt very forced didn't it. Rico was bad (not bad ass, just bad). Garza sounded more like a plumber than a soldier. Sev's dialogue is almost non existant.
now that hard work is done getting engine done, the next killzone wont be 2 far off, i wanna see better grafix more vehicle play(mech section was awesome) more multiplayer options and 3d support.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
