PC games make no money, better off making them for consoles.

Ever hear of this litle game called World of Warcraft?

And before anyone says "well it's because it's P2P", there's a rumor on Joystiq about PSN becoming subscription based soon.

And before anyone attacks me, note the keyword rumor.

As for MAG, hands down would be better on PC, but it's okay, PC doesn't need MAG. Not sure why everyone's so crazy for the 128 on 128 thing, it's not like its anything new. I want to know more about the game itself as a shooter, than the part of it being MMO.

*facepalm* that "rumor" is about more things being subcription based, like Qore, and not PSN itsself. Online play and what not will still be free, there will just be other services that cost a premium.

It's a means by which PSN can "generate more revenue" without FORCING people to pay for the service.....so that has nothing to do with P2P

So, new things with subscriptions, or pre-existing features becoming subscription based?

New things with subscriptions, I believe

Around the Network

I hear a lot of folks saying mag would be better on PC, that don't own a ps3. Why is the PC community superior to the Console community? I don't think it is. They're roughly the same thing, It's just a bunch of guys either way, and yes most people will have mics in MAG. Did you ever play Zipper's Socom 2 on the PS2? That game practically defined the term community on a console. This game will not be lacking a community of players to play with I can guarantee that, with Zipper's name on the back of it. Sure they could touch up the graphics on the PC, but at what point does that make it less fair to the players with weaker PCs. The game isn't fun because of the player count either, it's fun because the focus on objectives and teamwork.

I have a PS3, but no games yet -.-

I don't think anyone's saying it would be awful on PS3, but that it would be better on PC. If anyone is saying that, shame on you.

I hear a lot of folks saying how FPS games on consoles are better than PC's despite not owning a gaming PC too.  I have both and it really isn't even a contest, everything would be better if MAG was on PC (except probably more cheats), this isn't criticizing the PS3, it's just a simple truth that the PC is more flexible and powerful.

In all honesty I don't think MAG should be on PC though as it wouldn't get the sales it deserved and would be lost in the sea of FPS released each year.
