Ever hear of this litle game called World of Warcraft?
And before anyone says "well it's because it's P2P", there's a rumor on Joystiq about PSN becoming subscription based soon.
And before anyone attacks me, note the keyword rumor.
As for MAG, hands down would be better on PC, but it's okay, PC doesn't need MAG. Not sure why everyone's so crazy for the 128 on 128 thing, it's not like its anything new. I want to know more about the game itself as a shooter, than the part of it being MMO.

*facepalm* that "rumor" is about more things being subcription based, like Qore, and not PSN itsself. Online play and what not will still be free, there will just be other services that cost a premium.
It's a means by which PSN can "generate more revenue" without FORCING people to pay for the service.....so that has nothing to do with P2P

So, new things with subscriptions, or pre-existing features becoming subscription based?

Sorry, this is wrong.
Planetside, SWG, and the upcoming DC Universe (I know, it's not out yet, but I still think it deserves mentioning).

Guys stop derailing the thread! It's supposed to be about "Would M.A.G. be a better game if it was on PC?" not "Should Sony Computer Entertainment start releasing their games on PC?"
Of course they aren't going to release their games on PC!

Well, I guess if it's MMOs only, I guess that makes some kind of sense.
Anyway, OT, most games would be better on PC.

If mag utilizes bluray, then a pc port would be a no no.

not to mention free realms and the agency.
Anyways on topic.. I think it might have an easier time finding it's target group on pc simply because so many has one, however, I also believe that it if the correct userbase finds this game on the ps3, it'll do as good as it could have otherwise.
Just because a game is good, doesn't mean it'll reach the correct audience. Unfotunately.
