There's one member in this site who has repeatedly posted " lol" in numerous threads.

Anyway, what we call wii or ps3 bashing here is called disscussion everywhere else. I was at GAF japan thread and my God, the mods were the one calling Nintendo out when it came to the Wii in JAPAN.

I agree fully with the premise that if your going to whine about your consoles collecting dust then you shouldn't of bought them. It was true that Wii had a little lapse in retail titles during late 08 early 09, but there has been a number of titles released lately that has put a number of hours on that lovely small box. You also figure that those little lapses give time for us who don't have an unlimited game budget to catch up on the titles we missed. Also if you a multi console gamer you can't play everything all the time and dust happens but the situation is cyclical what collects dust today will be on 24/7 tomorrow its the eb and flow of being a hardcore gamer. If you can't take the heat get out of the fire! On the Nintendo front I think the issue is that there was such a push in first year and half to get the games out there to sell the system to see if they could make a go of it, that the mix they didn't have enough planned to fill if the system did as well as it has. I agree it was poor planning, but again it give a chance for some of us to catch up.

I haven't played my Wii in 4 days, too busy playing Pokemon Platinum on my DS and a combination of Advance Wars: Black Hole Rising, Yu-Gi-Oh: Eternal Duel Soul and Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls on my GBA.

It's amazing how I'm the only person I know who plays his GBA more than his DS or Wii.

I've seen far too many people use #2 as their method of letting it out, and not enough #1.

Which is why I made a post not too long ago about only buying one console next gen.
The PC has other uses, but a gaming system that doesn't get used? Well...

It's not like Nintendo is gonna kill the Wii anytime soon anyways, but when they do I'll only be buying the next XBox.

Indeed Onyx, and yeah I saw your report it post ;P I wasn't really only directing this at VGC but forums all over the net, hell it's gotten so bad "professionals" in the field take the written word of these people as truth and you get statements like "It's a monopoly box in the closet" it's far from the truth. 

As for our site, it used to be heavy with what you described with #2, after many bannings for trolling like that, people decided to keep it to #1 though many are just saying it to troll and get away with it since technically you can't prove one way or the other that they're lying (its the internet, where women are men and boys are feds) they see a topic or create a topic about how long it's been since you played your console and every one of them comes out of the woodwork to say how they haven't played it in years and that there are no good games, only to piss others off.

you have a point, but then again, you give it too much importance.

I always find it amusing with people comment about a system they don't own. Makes them look dumb.
