you probably are right about the new ds, it will re-spark japan's interest in the ds again, as every time before

Around the Network

I'm glad they came out with the PSP GO. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought a PSP... and I'd still be playing a DS

they need a Persona 3 Portable bundle with PSPGo... That'll spike a week worth of PSP XD

hmm a thread abou tthe pspGo by a ninty fan(no offense intended), ok i seriousy doubt that this could not be more biased.
the pspGo was never meant to be a really huge sucess, but the psp is certainly picking up popularity in japan as it actually sells more over there than the ds, it's just the rest of the world prefers ds over psp, simple as that.

Yes I am a Nintendo fan, however I own all of the availible platforms from all three companies. It just so happens I prefer my Wii to my 360 and my 360 to my PS3. However I own tons of PSP software, so I am an avid gamer not a fanboy. Of course I'm proud to be a Nintendo fan so I really don't take offence. I'm just not a fanboy.

As said above this article was not written with Bias. The PSP 3000 is picking up in Japan, but I wasn't talking about the PSP 3000 I was talking about the Go. Also as many people pointed out the DS is still selling a ton more software in Japan then the PSP and with the XL coming out it will probubly retake the lead.

Also about Walmart not selling the Go. A user here said they work at Walmart and they don't appear to sell the Go. EBGames in many countries refused to carry the Go and so did many retailers in Australia/Canada/UK. Fact is why sell a platform that you can't sell games for? I wonder how much the retailer pays for the 20$ points cards? How much profit is actually their to be made?

Infact I'm sure retailers everywhere are just praying that the PSP:Go bombs big time, nobody wants the industry to go digital distribution!

yes i agree not much profit for the greedy shops to make from the go, which is ultimately hurting the go, i will let you off^^
unfortunately dd eventually will have it's way it's just too early for it right now as you can tell, everyone still prefers their physical copies over dd, and the shops don't want to be left out, so psp go will keep on selling at these levels.
