Anyhow, finally.. I have been waiting for them to do this.

They have the biggest Music Record Company in the world, and they do this now. sighs
I don't know anyone, other than a couple adults, that actually buy their music. I don't have an iPod or anything mainly for the fact that I don't want to buy the songs, but also don't want to break the law, while probably adding viruses to my computer.

I still buy Vinyl and Cd's lol.
On topic I think its probably a matter of too little too late.

I guess some people cant be arsed checking out other avenues. |
Overpriced? You realize some of the pricing on itunes is out of Apple's control, premiums are partially dictated by record companies, thus the $1.29 pricetag. And if you think that's overpriced, what, you want to buy whole albums for $3 or soemthing? You can buy singles for about a dollar, albums for around 10 (typically). That's a lower price than in the past. And just because packaging and cd-pressing costs are eliminated, doesn't mean production costs aren't up (and they are).
Sony may be able to sell some stuff at a cheaper price (since it's their own music), but I wouldn't expect much of a difference.
