'Europa' means Europe in German and Italian Soriku, and perhaps a few other languages.

Italy looks like it's Sony land along with Spain.

Europa in most Scandinavian languages too. If not all. Is there any language besides english that says Europe? :P

Any specific reasoning behind the massive Wii jump?

Yes, Wii stocks sold out the previous weeks in UK that is the largest european market

Source ? Iwata himself.

I think "Europa" is "Europa" in almost any language in Europe except english and french.

I think the Wii jump is mostly because Nintendo has finally more shipments going to Europe as well. And better spread across Europe too, before the bigger countries had a big benefit over the smaller countries who almost didn't receive any shipments. I don't live in Italy or Spain but I wouldn't be surprised if they are sold out there. And PS3 only winning because Nintendo can't keep up demand.

What coused this huge growth of Wii sales in the end of the chart?

People just like Wii's i guess ... j/k... Maybe somethin to do with Metroid being out since last week and eerhm.... Galaxy looming on the horizon?! People tend to buy consoles because of killer apps ...

And btw: Europe = europA... In the most important country in EuropA >>*Cough* NETHERLANDS! (NEDERLAND!!!) *cough*<<... So i'm gonna stick to that! ...

Just out of curiosity, what do Europeans call Europa (one of Jupiter's moons)?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

MP3 is sold out pretty much everywhere around here in Sweden. Some stores can't even fullfill the preorders until mid november.

White Devil was asking about how Europeans call the moon of Jupiter with the same name as the continent like. Answer: Europa.

Europa: In Greek mythology, a mistress of Zeus to whom he appeared as a gentle white heifer. Zeus persuaded her to take a ride on his back, and then he carried her away across the sea.
