Forums - PC - Help me decide on a new gaming mouse.

I got a Logitech MX518. Too me, any mouse >= $50 is plenty good. I can't use much more precision than what they provide. Hell, I don't come anywhere close to the highest sensitivity settings in any game. What I love about this particular mouse is the buttons in line with the scroll wheel that let you adjust sensitivity on the fly. It's useful when you have a massive screen (1920x1200) that can take forever to move through, but also need to tone down the sensitivity sometimes (e.g. Paint). Plus, it's awesome for games where you need different levels of sensitivity (e.g. sniping vs. spraying in a FPS).

Once again i have small hands so the G5 is way to big for me. I appreciate the effort though. I'm taking a look at the copperhead and my only concern is that I'm not quite sure the price difference justifies the different features from the diamondback. For now instead of getting ready for work i have to leave for work. I'll look into it more when i get back. Thanks for the responses so far.

I have the Deathadder and I like it. I would recommend that beast to you^^

Good for you! Or should I say; good for us! It gets top marks allround for me, I spend countless hours on the PC every single day and the mouse is incredibly comfortable in games and desktop use alike, it costs quite a bit but my last mouse was a cordless Logitech with a charging station and that cost a lot more and was largely useless for games and the batteries were fried and barely lasted one day after a couple of years so I'd say the Kone is well worth its price!

Get the Copperhead instead of the Diamondback. I've used a Razer Copperhead for three years and it's the best mouse I've ever used. Definitely superior to the Diamondback.

Well my complaints were that i wished the Diamondback had the side button placement of the death adder and it's construction as i didn't like the shape of the death so I was wanting the two to make a baby :P

After taking a closer look at the copperhead i noticed it had the buttons exactly where i wanted them and i found at the the optical was better then both the death adder and diamondback. Thanks for the suggestion and i was wrong about the pricing comment above since i've taken a closer look at it. Thanks for the suggestion as the copperhead will be my weapon of choice.

I was going to wait until after christmas to buy this, but they're not being sold anywhere but amazon for used or slightly new and i like my hardware untouched. I don't want the main stock from the website to go out either so i bought it. Should be here in the next week or so.

Happy Fragging!   By the way read my siggy lol.

It's a pity the G5 is too big for you, because it really is a fantastic mouse. had mine for nearly 3 years, and it's served me well.
