Forums - PC - Help me decide on a new gaming mouse.

Okie dokie well my current mouse is giving me a few problems. After extended use it starts to go numb a little, but the main problem is that it's wire isn't long enouph . My PC is so big that the mouses cord can't reach the computer so i have to play with my arm slightly extended out. So I'm using this as an excuse to get me a new gaming mouse.

I've narrowed down my search to two mouse's (mice?)

The Razer DeathAdder and the Razer Diamondback 3G

The thing with the DeathAdder is that it has the button setup i want along with a much better sensor. Two buttons on the left side of it that with your standard ones on top. It's optical stats are considered to be one of the best out right now.

With the Diamondback it's an ambidextrious mouse. I' am right handed but I love the feel of ambidextrious mouse's they just seem to really suit well with me. The diamondback is also smaller. I have really small hands and I haven't used an ergonomic mouse in a long ass time...so I don't know how well the DeathAdder would fit into my hands. The buttons say there are 7 and i think i see them combined in with the LEDs on the side however im worried i would hit the wrong buttom since they're so close.

The third point doesn't really matter to much, but I'm an aesthetics whore when it comes to my equipment. I enjoy how the Diamondback looks. Very sleek, nice colors etc. Also price isn't an issue as long as were staying under 120 USD so if you have some other suggestions feel free. Also i know a lot of people like the Mx518 but that is not for me....i have small hands once again and it's just doesn't feel good to me.

Honestly i wish those two mice would make a baby....Have the design of the diamondback with the side buttons of the deathadder with it's optical laser as well.

So what's your reccomendations?

Looking at porn in style!!!

yeah i saw that mouse a while ago, but when the mouse is 2/3s the price of my computer, I'll pass lol. doesn't really look comfortable either.

No one's posted the specs on that mouse i would be interested just to see if it's just the materials that make it so expensive or if there is actually some nifty tech put into it.

Actually, I'd recommend the one I just got myself, best mouse I ever tried;

I have the DeathAdder. IMO, I lost precision when doing everything, especially when editing things on Paint. It's like if my cursor, instead of moving 1 pixel from right to left for example, moves 2 pixels. It's just so annoying.

Gaming mouses aren't really useful for practical uses...!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Get the Copperhead instead of the Diamondback. I've used a Razer Copperhead for three years and it's the best mouse I've ever used. Definitely superior to the Diamondback.

I bought a Logitech G5 not too long ago, it's a great mouse.

I have the Razer Lachesis and I have been pretty happy with it so far. It's got a funky shape but once you get used to it it's very comfortable, asli it works for lefties too!

I second the user with the G5. It's amazing.
Razer mice (mouses, whatever) are usually overpriced, imo.
