I know that in UK people take this thing of 13 being the devil't number serious. I read once that there they don't make the thirteenth floor of buildings.

There are some buildings in the US without 13th floors too, but this is just paranoia at its insanest.

I thought 13 was just unlucky-- the devils number is 666.

However, several buildings in both Europe and the US (particularly old buildings), if they have thirteen or more floors, skip the number thirteen and assign the thirteenth floor the number 14.

I have not heard of anybody not buying FF XIII for this reason, but I could believe that some people might be superstitious enough not to buy the game because of the number 13.

When we reach December 13 of 2013 this game will have sold 13 million copies!
