I still don't get the point of a browser on a console anyway.

I can understand that using Last.Fm would be pretty cool. your favourite music in the background could be nice. I tried Last.FM and did not like it. My music taste is sooo special, it is pointless for me, but some might enjoy this.

Twitter... well... I might follow some Xbox 360 related guys on Twitter like Major Nelson or some developers, but that's it.

I won't use facebook at all.

so in a word: I might use Twitter every now and then, but that's it. I can't think of any webside I really wanted to visit during my online gaming sessions. I do have my PC like 2 meters next to my TV anyway. Or I could use my phone.

But well... whatever makes you happy.

Why the hell would I want Firefox on my PC? I use my PC for internet surfing. Aside from the games themselves and some of the extra DLC I don't really see any other use for the online on consoles at all, actually.
Trailers and stuff I also watch on my PC where I spend the majority of my time. Demo's, I don't care for them and don't download them.

Great! If this become true then it will be a huge upgrade to the PS3 browser.

A browser is a nice option to a console. If somehow your PC stops working at least you can still have an access to internet. Just like what the other poster said on other thread, it's good for porn lol.
