Just throw around your opinions about if sony will make it out of the current economy and flourish again. I have heard to big to fail but that is what they said about GM and Chrysler. So will they make or will they sell to Samsung or something?

PS3 will, I'm really just waiting for the day they drop the PSP.

They will survive. No question about it. They are a very large company, and soon they will start slashing prices on most of their products, so sales should increase. I don't think they will make another PS3 mistake again, so they should be fine. In about a year or so we should see Sony out of the red ink.

is this a serious question?, nobody will stay on top for ever, ps2 dominated everything, ps3 has been a bit slow , but is sales are very good now, it has many strong years left. if you ask this about sony, you should ask for every company out right now.

I notice everyone is talking sales, but very few are mentioning th sea of red ink Sony is in, Opa, why would they drop the PSP, they make a profit on that, they don't on the PS3.

Buddah, slashing prices will only cut deeper into their profit margins, if they have any, and will result in more red ink, more losses.

i think they'll survive as a company. they are forecasting profitability early next year so their red will eventually turn black.

when will they recoup their losses made on the ps3? that's a different question.

Sony is doing fine. They are making over 4 billion dollars in revenue. It is down a lot from previous years (around 11 billiob), but 4 billion is still doing great.
