Obviously it's a question of taste. Or Re5 that went the same way as Re4 woudn't have been so successfull.

Can't blame a developer for making a game that appeals to more gamers..

Most resident evil fans will agree that the gamecube remake was the last good one. It started to go sour with the RE Zero...

RE4 was also a great game, one of the best games ever, but it's also an unwelcome departure from the series. I miss old, dumb and slow zombies, limited bullets and bad acting!

But the survival aspect of RE4 is so good I can forgive all that, it's great to kill ganados while running, climbing stairs and blocking doors and windows...

But I do miss old fashioned RE's!

Don't pigeon hole the RE fans. Most of us loved RE4, just some people can't accept change and they're very loud about it.

I loved Resident Evil 4 too...but it wasn't RE anymore.

I should have said that the "last classic resident evil that was good was the gamecube remake"

The gamecube version was a work of art.

Apparently RE has been ruined because Capcom has gotten the idea that westerners don't want to play japanese style games
