March next year is the date. It was delayed because they want to add more community features rather than adding them over time.

Wanting this feature very badly . It seems like Sony's (almost) caught up with Xbox Live from my point of view. What else is there that Live has that we dont?

Why is it that ps3 owners are always promised with cross game chat with every firmware and we never get it? i wouldn't be surprised to see this turn out to be false. If it does happen it probably wont be till next year in the middle of summer.

it's never been promised to us in an upcoming update. This first time EVER some one at SONY claimed it was in an upcoming update was that slip up by an ND developer....
