Forums - Sony - Finally got Demon's Soul, in a store here in Europe xDD!!

As the title suggests, I finally found Demon's Soul here in my country, Portugal. My jaw just fell down when I saw the limited edition on the store (for the same price as the normal edition) and I learned that the store had the game since October xD. I bought it on the moment and going to start playing it today :D

So, any pointers for a newbie in DS? I love all the difficult battle systems in RPG's (I'm a huge Baldur's Gate fan, and i'm playing Dragon Age on Hard), but i've seen and heard about the difficulty of DS. Also is there someone in here that still plays the game online?

What class do you consider the best for starters? I was thinking maybe starting with The Wanderer class since i'm a sucker for item completion, and I saw in the manual that it has high luck thus garnering items faster

High luck only effects how much of an item an enemy drops though.
So, I'd consider it the least important stat for starters.

Anyway, be careful. Fight one on one. Lure your enemies out.

Yeah Nen, we sometimes get lucky with the LE of games in my country. Recently I bought Forza 3, Dragon Age and Demon's soul LE for the same price as the normal version.
Our new game prices are already outrageous (70€ for a new game, that's almost 100$) so I guess our nation's publisher (Ecogames) don't mind to publish the LE editions for the same price, since they don't lose much with them, if they lose anything at all.

Hummm, but aren't there any items that are droppable only by enemies? or do you eventually get them on the stores as you go?
